 For the purists among you, lovers of the no-frills form without wanting to forego the very special aesthetics of my patinations. "Patina" is the name of the series of patinated Zippo's without a motif. The "Patina" Zippo is currently available in green, turquoise and black. Other patina variants will follow next year (2024).

 Please note that every Zippo looks a little different, it is never possible to create the same patina look 1:1 and that is exactly how we want it. The patina always turns out differently in terms of color intensity, brightness and layer thickness. Of course, you can use the photos here as a rough guide, but no two Zippo look the same.

 Important to know:
 The patina is a natural coating of copper alloys (the Zippo is made of the alloy brass) and is not harmful when in contact with the skin; bronze sculptures, for example, have the same patina.
 Over time the patina will wear off, depending on how often and how intensively it is used. And that is intentional; the Zippo will and should change over time, always looking a little different; that is what makes the patina so appealing. Generally speaking, the patina gets darker over time due to friction, grease/oil from the hands and other environmental influences. Depending on how intensively the Zippo is used, the patina will rub off in the less sensitive areas (edges first) and the bare brass will eventually show through. It is fascinating to watch these looks change; small parts of the patina may also flake off; this is completely normal; this is due to the different thicknesses of the patina.

 If the patina has completely worn off, I can re-patina the Zippo for a fee, please just ask.

 Each Zippo comes in a gift box and with a beautiful, hand-made leather case! Also included for immediate use is 1 bottle of original Zippo fuel and 1 blister pack of replacement flints, as well as the original Zippo box.
