As many of you already know, I have been taking a creative break since the end of 2025, which is scheduled to last until the end of 2026.
hartaufhart is a passion that began with my love of Zippo lighters and grew out of a deep appreciation for leather as a material. This passion will stay with me for the rest of my life; I love creating products that, in turn, can accompany you for a lifetime.
During my break, I’ve now made a few initial decisions regarding the brand. My products are no longer available in retail outlets.
As a result, I’ve been able to reduce the prices for direct sales quite significantly – I doubt anyone will complain about that :)
However, I’ll only be running this online shop until the end of the year; after that, my products will only be available by contacting me directly via Instagram, email, etc. My little showroom in Düsseldorf will remain open – you’re still welcome to pop in by appointment to view and buy everything right here on the premises.

"hartaufhart" stands for unique specimens, for usage material, for design and solid craftsmanship with the claim to survive generations.
The Zippo lighters are an important instrument in every film in which fire is caused by wilful intent. And this is not supposed to be understood as a request to set everything on fire!
